David "DJ" Michael Lynch Jr.

David “DJ” Michael Lynch Jr., age 19 of Urbana, OH passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2023. He was born on June 18, 2004 in Springfield, OH to David Michael Lynch Sr. and Christine (Redmond) Lynch. DJ is survived by his mother and step-father, Christine Lynch and Harold “Peanut” Warner Sr., sisters; Brittany (Ryan) Burkepile, Cheyenne Lynch, and Sierra (Kaitlyn) Lynch, brother, Naman Keeton, step-siblings; Amber (Timothy) Ferguson, Alexandria (Hiram) Christian, Harold (Jennifer) Warner Jr., Brittany Warner, and Kimberly (Mark) Warner, grandfather, Edwin Lynch, aunts: Barbara Parr and Rebecca  Remond, uncle John (Doug) Redmond, best-friends, Karsten Jones and Simon Parke, best-friend and companion, Gracie, 4-legged brother, Hooch, and numerous precious nieces, nephews, and cousins. DJ was preceded in death by his father, David Michael Lynch Sr., sisters, Ashley Lynch and Amber Lynch, grandparents, Carol Lynch and Bessie and John Redmond, and uncle, Scott Lynch.

DJ was a 2022 graduate of Graham High School. He was affectionately known as the favorite child in his family. DJ loved watching football, playing baseball, video games, and his 4-wheeler. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his friends, especially at bonfires. If you saw DJ, you saw his friends because he was always with them. He wanted to get his CDL and be a diesel mechanic. DJ was overly obsessed with trucks, especially Cummins. He was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan. DJ had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He had a servant’s heart and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. 
Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center, Springfield. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., officiated by David Garrett. DJ will be laid to rest at Ferncliff Cemetery immediately following the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses during this tragic and unexpected time.
