Daniel David Dingledine Sr.

Daniel David Dingledine Sr., age 83 of Springfield, Ohio passed away on November 5, 2022. Dan was born on November 27, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Roger and Lillian (Martin) Dingledine.

Dan is survived by children; Rebecca Newman, Debra (Dennis) Patten, Roger (Tammie) Dingledine, and Sandy (Jesse) Pierce, brother, Richard Dingledine, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Richard Bostick, sister-in-law, Marcia Bostick, and many nieces and nephew. Dan is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois L. Dingledine, and son, Daniel David Dingledine Jr.

Dan AKA “Peep” retired from GM with 30+ years of service. He loved the outdoors, our military, flag, and our country. Most of all, he loved his family. His hobbies included keeping his lawn green and mowed, tearing and patching his roof, and upkeep on his red Camaro.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Dan will be laid to rest at Ferncliff Cemetery and Arboretum next to his loving wife, Lois.
