Cynthia Kay Wilson

Cynthia Kay Wilson, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly in her home on September 27, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on June 8, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio, Cindy devoted her life to her family, pouring her heart into each fleeting moment she shared with them. Cindy found joy in simple pleasures, evidenced by her hobbies of scrapbooking and canning the fruits of her labor from the garden she cherished. Cindy was deeply passionate about her grandchildren, often taking them everywhere they needed to go. 

She is survived by her significant other of 27 years, Bob Gebhart; her daughter, Renee (Bart) Overfield and children Trevor and Abbey; son, Shawn (Mindi) Wilson and children, Layni, Sophie, Cole, Lyvi, Lana; son, Jeff (Tiffany) Wilson, and children, Gracie and Everett; and special friend who she loved like a son, Chris (Kristi) Moore and his family. She also leaves behind her siblings, Terry (Nancy) Circle, Karen Demmitt, and Jill (Gary) Hedges. In addition, Cindy leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Ruth (Wagner) Circle; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Wilson; and her brother-in-law, Greg Demmitt. 

A visitation for Cindy will be held on October 5, 2024, from 10-11AM at the Lawrenceville Church of God, located at 3131 Fox Hollow Road, Springfield, OH 45502 with funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Cindy will be laid to rest at Plattsburg Cemetery in South Charleston, Ohio, at 1:30 PM.
