Curt Duane Wood

Curt Duane Wood, age 52, passed away March 28, 2021 in Dayton, Ohio. Curt was born on April 3, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Duane R. Wood and Sherrie (Money) Wood. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his niece, Reece Wood. Curt is survived by his mother, Sherrie Wood, brothers; Casey (Michelle) Wood and children; Adam and Claire of Cedarville, Ohio and Evan (Lisa) Wood and children; Callan, Emi, Kyler, and Cami of Fort Wayne, Indiana, aunts; Linda (Barry) Eller and Nancy (Dick) Inskeep, and numerous cousins. Curt was a 1987 graduate from Portland Maine High School. He worked in food service for Pioneer Caterers at Cedarville University. He resided in Union Grove, Wisconsin at the Shepard’s Home where he worked in the greenhouse for almost 7 years. More recently he lived in Upper Arlington and was part of the Goodwill Organization. Curt loved plants, flowers, and listening to music. Family and friends will be accepted Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church, Cedarville. A service will follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Dr. Richard Blumenstock. Curt will be laid to rest with his father at North Cemetery, Cedarville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Grace Baptist Church in Curt’s honor. Arrangements in the care of Jackson Lytle and Lewis Life Celebration Center.
