Christina Ann Grout

GROUT, Christina Ann "Crissy" age 31 went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2021 after a hard fought battle with Lupus.  She was born on September 10, 1989 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Ron and Shelley (Reaver) Grout.  In addition to her parents, Crissy is survived by her fiance, Dana Olwin; her two beloved sons: Luke and Jake Korn; sisters: Erin (Jason) Norton and Leslie Grout; nieces: Avery Brewer, Katie Heider and Gracie Heider.  Crissy is also survived by her paternal grandfather, Marvin (Shirley) Grout, maternal grandmother, Shirley Reaver; former spouse and father to her children: Kurtis Korn as well as so many friends including Heather Deam.  Crissy is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Virgie Grout and maternal grandfather, Robert "Bob" Reaver. 
Crissy's motto in life was "Life's a dance you learn as you go..."  Although life threw her many challenges along the way she always kept her spirits high and enjoyed life to its fullest.  She enjoyed listening to country music and being outdoors.  Her greatest joys were her sons and spending time with her family. Crissy was active in a Facebook support group with other women battling Lupus; helping them, helped her. Crissy's last gift was the gift of life she brought to others as she was an organ and tissue donor, saving countless lives. 
A celebration of Crissy's life will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Restoration Park Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family will be setting up a trust for Crissy's sons at New Carlisle Federal Bank they would prefer you contribute to it.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com
