Barbara Ann Wyss

Barbara Ann Wyss, DVM, age 58, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 15, 2021. She was born on August 11, 1962, in Jasper, Alabama, the daughter of the late Jimmy Dale and Delphia (Kennedy) Wilson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Jeff and Dave Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Chuck Wyss; her beloved children, Rhianna Wyss, Ross Wyss and Rhys Wyss; sister-in-law, Angie Wilson; nephew and niece, David and Emily Wilson; special friends, Laurie Highmiller and Morgan Toops; and many other extended family and friends. Barbara graduated from Elida High School in 1980 and went on to The Ohio State University where she graduated with her degree in Veterinary Medicine. She had a passion for animals big and small and there was always room in her heart to help one in need. She donated a lot of her time to her friends and family’s animals and she worked for numerous veterinarian hospitals in the surrounding areas. Barbara most recently worked at Upper Heights Veterinary Clinic in Huber Heights. She enjoyed crafting and jewelry making, loved music and theatre, and treasured her days spent gardening, tending to her flowers, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5-8p.m. at Ingling Williams & Lewis Funeral Home, South Charleston.
