Ashlynn Nicole Dooley, 20, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly due to a car accident on March 27, 2020, alongside the love of her life, Jacob Smith and their unborn baby “Baby Beastie” aka “Baby Peanut”. She was born on November 18, 1999, in Springfield, the beloved daughter of Jammie Bowermaster and Kevin Dooley. Ashlynn was always outgoing and adventurous and was a shining light wherever she went. When she sang, she had the voice of an angel and when she danced, you couldn’t help but dance with her. Ashlynn’s contagious smile and caring soul are only a few of the characteristics that made her so special to so many people. She is survived by her mother, Jammie Bowermaster; father, Kevin Dooley (Mindy Botkin); siblings, Cierra Dooley (Cody Frey), Christain Dooley and Joey Trimble; grandmother, Patricia Bowermaster; aunts and uncles, Paul (Michelle) Bowermaster, Debbie Dooley, Sherry Dooley, John (Denelle) Dooley and Mike (Megan) Dooley; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Stephen Bowermaster and grandmother, Vickie Dooley. A visitation to honor Ashlynn, Jacob and their baby’s life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 with time frames listed below. Service will be private to immediate family only and will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 at 11a.m. We will be live streaming the service on the Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center facebook page. Ashlynn and Jacob will be laid to rest together at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making donations through the funeral home website to help the family during this difficult time.
If you wish to show your love and support, you may line the sidewalks down N. Limestone Street as the funeral procession passes on Friday. Please still keep your social distance from each other as the CDC recommends. A suggestion for parking would be to utilize the Kroger parking lot on the corner of N. Limestone and Home Rd.
To abide with the regulations set forth for public gatherings due to the COVID 19 virus, we are restricted to allowing only 50 people in the funeral home at one given time.
