Asa B. Jones, Jr.

Asa B. Jones, Jr., lifelong resident of Cedarville, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born on September 1, 1932, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Asa B. Sr. and Henrietta (Stewart) Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Chester Jones and sisters, Frances Harding and Glenna Harding. Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Rosemary (Williams) Jones; sons, Gregory (Sharon) Jones and Alan Jones; grandchildren, Angelia Simpson, Ariel (Brian) Beam and Mathew (Courtney) Wheelen; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Gabriella and Vanessa Blake, Layla and Gideon Simpson, Jacob and Roman Beam, Reece, Mason and Pierce Wheelen; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a proud veteran in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge from the Army in 1960, he continued to serve his country working at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in supplies. Mr. Jones was a wonderful husband who adored his family. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be deeply missed. His memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
