Anthony "Gage" Ehlinger

Anthony “Gage” Ehlinger, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 19, 2021. He was born on November 11, 1994, in Springfield, the son of Amy M. (Greene) and Tony D. Ehlinger. Gage is survived by his mother, Amy Ehlinger; father, Tony (Courtney) Ehlinger; brother, Jaydon Ehlinger; grandparents, Cynthia Payne, Deana and Steve Schuler and Nick and Robbi Ehlinger; step-sister, Brittany Bowsher; uncles, Todd (Amy) Greene, Danny Greene and Brad (Wendy) Schuler; aunts, Stacy (Brian) Pearson and Tina Johnson; best friend, Darian Penrose; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Donald R. Greene “Papa”. Gage adored his family and his love for them was his top priority. He was his brother’s hero and always made sure he was on the right path. Gage had a passion for music and was an extremely talented artist. He was a friend to everyone and his larger-than-life personality could light up any room. Private services will be held at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army – J.A.M.S program, 15 S. Plum St. Springfield, OH 45506. This program helps children to learn a musical instrument at no charge.
