Anna Lucille Wehrs

WEHRS, Anna L., age 93 of Springfield passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her home. She was born on January 2, 1928 in Plain City, Ohio to the late Charles E. and Alvira (Morgan) Lamb. In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Omar Wehrs; sister, Ella Loree Baas; brother, John Lamb and son-in-law, J. Kevin Ramsey. Anna leaves behind her five children to cherish her memory; they include: Vickie (John) Snyder, Beverly (Jerry) Huffman, Douglas (Debbie) Wehrs, Donald (Natalie) Wehrs and Carol Crawford; grandchildren: Leslie Snyder, Rachel Snyder, Sarah (Brendan) Lore, Jennifer (Jeff) Young, Ryan (Jennie) Huffman, Tara (Richie) Santiago, Brandi (Mike) Brooks, Jennifer (Scott) Glispie, Tyler (Kara) Wehrs, Holly Risner, Tony (Christin) Harris, Daniel (Jenny) Wehrs, Nathan (Becky) Harris, Ashley (Shawn) Orndorff, Tyler (Michelle) Harris and Tiffany Megan (Rob) Chance as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Anna retired from the State of Ohio after many dedicated years. She enjoyed taking care of her plants and was a true animal lover. Anna was blessed with a large family and never turned anyone away that was in need. She will be deeply and sadly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Heartland Hospice as well as two special caretakers, Crystal Penwell and Brittany McAdams for their compassionate care of Anna. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Clark County Humane Society in Anna's honor.
