STAPLES, Adam I, age 42 of Springfield passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on June 28, 1978 in Springfield, Ohio the son of William R. "Butch" and Brenda (Sanders) Staples. In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his sons, Andan Staples and Tayden Staples and daughter, Chebrya Jeffrey; brother, Todd (Holly) Staples; partner in parenting, Stacy Staples. Also surviving Adam are his nieces: Brooklynn Staples, Hadlea Cydrus, Brailee Staples, and Kinsleigh Staples; great niece, Kalee McCommons; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends including his best friend, Ricky Sloan. Adam was a devoted corrections officer for Clark County Juvenile Court. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan and loved playing Madden NFL on the Xbox with his sons and friends. He enjoyed going to high school sporting events with family and friends. Adam enjoyed hanging out, throwing darts and playing cards. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at High Street Church of the Nazarene from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service beginning at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Marty Dennis officiating.
