Aaron Mont Orr was born March 3, 1974, to Ronald Ray and Zelma Rebecca Arlene (nee Hogue) Orr, in Springfield, Ohio. He passed peacefully on May 25, 2024, at 8:37am, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by family.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Jeanne Margaret (nee Watson) Orr, his brothers, Ronald Scott Orr and Anthony Todd Orr, his sister, Sheri Arlene (nee Orr) Henline, his son, Harrison Mont Orr, his mother, Zelma Rebecca Arlene (nee Hogue) Orr, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Ray Orr, along with both sets of his maternal and paternal grandparents.
On April 30, as Aaron was taking his daily walk, he was tragically struck by an automobile travelling at a high speed. After suffering multiple life threatening injuries and undergoing several procedures and surgeries, he ultimately succumbed to those injuries on May 25. Through all of this, Aaron was a hero. He was an organ donor, and his kidneys saved 2 lives on the day of his passing.
Aaron had a wonderful upbringing in Springfield, OH, which he lovingly referred to as Swingtucky. He was a high school star athlete, exceling at both soccer and tennis. He went on to study at Clark State College, The Ohio State University, and then graduated with a business degree from Wright State University. He flourished in the Human Resources sector with several companies throughout his career. He met and married his wife, Maggie, in 2004 when they both worked at Butternut Bread, Interstate Brands, in Cincinnati. They later had their one and only child, Harrison, now 12 years of age.
Aaron was an avid OSU Buckeyes and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved watching games with friends and family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was the best billiards player on both sides of the family. Aaron truly had a passion for all kinds of music, enjoying everything from concerts to just sitting on the back porch with his speaker. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be immensely missed by all.
