On Saturday, October 31, 2020, Linda Sue West passed away while embraced by her family. She is survived by her children, Michelle (Billy) and Angela (Jeremy); grandchildren Kyle (Briana), Hannah (Steven), and Justine; her great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Max, Michael, Kinsley, Vivian, Christopher, and Harper; her sister, Diana (Denny) Alsip; sister-in-law, Marty Preston; and nephews and nieces, Joshua (Jennifer), Kelly (Dusty), Lori (Mike), Marc (Kristin) and their families. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Jimmie and Bobbie “Justine” (Bayless) Preston; her beloved husband, William E. West; and her brother, David Preston. Linda was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 21, 1951 and graduated from Northeastern High School in 1969. She worked at Cedarville University as an administrative assistant in the medical clinic and also at Sycamore Glen Retirement Community as a secretary. She was an awesome wife, mother sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved everyone and made lots of friends wherever she went. She didn’t have many hobbies but her family knew her as the master at making peanut brittle. It would melt in your mouth it was so good and at one time, she even made it into the newspaper because of its deliciousness. She always put 110% into everything she did. Linda was very ornery and stubborn at times, but her family loved her none the less. A Celebration of her life to be held at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center on Monday, March 15 at 6p.m. with visitation from 5:30-6p.m. Condolences may be expressed to her family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com.
